BMW F30 coolant change - battery to mains

Hi All,

Just about to do the coolant change on an F30, as I need to run the electric pump "purge cycle" and it takes circa. 12mins. Has anyone done this hooking up the car battery to a charger which isnt a AGM charger?

I have a low / high voltage normal battery charger which should work on the basis its only on for 12mins and I read some people didn't even bother to hook up a charger when running the cycle.

Doesn't need to be an agm charger for this. Hook up to the posts in the engine bay, not the directly to the battery.

If your battery's health is fine, you can probably get away with running the cycle without a charger.
