No, I don't, nor do I understand your need to "recover" to F020_13_07_506. BMW Dealers have always only the latest. If car ever went into Dealer for service that required programming, it would be with the latest, not old version.

I bought a BMW 320d and the version of this car is F020_13_07_506 (I saw it on ISTA-P 4.50.40).
I want to make modifications from E-sys on my ECUs, that's why I need this specific version. This will allow me to reload this version if I have a problem during my modifications.
ISTA-P 4.50.40 offers me to update the car to version F020_24_11_520 but I can't do it at the moment.

You can code and restore original coding using latest psdzdata.

You mean if i do a backup from E-sys (FA, CAF and SVT) i dont need the actual version to restore the car ?

I am saying you can code any ECU with latest psdzdata, and if need be, you can restore the original factory coding.

not really sure what you mean by trimmed, sorry i am too new to all this, and the current istep level of my car is F020-14-3-503 and i have Psdzdata v4.38.30 which wont read my ECU unless i am doing something wrong.

You must be doing something wrong, as Psdzdata v4.38.30 is from Nov 2022, so it should easily read older F020-14-03-503, which is from March 2014.

What is issue reading ECU?

Hi so I did figure out the problem, which was in the first step I was not selecting connect via VIN.
