My new toy (2016 - 330i LCI M Sport Saloon with M Perform kit)

Hey Guys,

Just thought I would finally add to the forum after observing over the past few months since acquiring my car in October 2017 as 13 months old and wanted a newish car for the family to accompany my e36 M3 GT2.

The pictures are after having it ceramic coated and am really pleased with the results as it was the first time I had this done but have had supagard and others in past.

The spec of the car is what I wanted and looked around for awhile to find it as unfortunately due to being spoilt previously I now look for all the toys and not many people spec all those bits new as clearly it costs and isn’t for everyone. I now have the car and love the look of it as feels understated but the subtleness comes out to people who know the cars.

Please see details of car and spec below along with the photos.

Make: BMW
Model: 330i M Sport Auto with M Performance Kit
Registered: September 2016
Mileage: 10k

Specification (Optional Extras):
Sport Auto
Professional Media
M Sport Plus pack (19” Wheels, Harman Kardon, Sun Pro Glass, M Sport braking, M sport suspension, High beam assist)
Electric Folding Mirrors
Individual Piano Black Trim
Enhanced Bluetooth (extra USB socket and upto 4 bluetooth devices and Wireless Charging)
Electric Memory Seats
Heated front Seats
Heated Steering wheel
Split folding rear seats
Sliding front armrest
Sunroof
LED headlights
Wifi Hotspot

I also got the dealership to add M Performance kit comprising of:
Black kidney grills
M Performance front splitter
M performance side blades
M performance side decals
M performance rear spoiler
M performance rear diffuser

Other M performance parts added outside of kit:
M performance illuminated side sills
M performance pedals

I will hopefully be able to contribute more to the forums with my experiences and also share details of other cars in the house along with ownership experiences.

More photos to follow due to requirement for cropping.

Looks lovely!

Mine was specced with a sunroof too and, sadly enough, it's my favorite feature!

How did you find Supagard on your previous cars? I have it on mine and i am very happy with it so far.

Hi,

I had supagard on a couple of cars and it was great. However, having now experienced ceramic coating, the water beading and the shine of the car seems to be better. With regards to maintenance and washing, I haven’t really noticed much difference as both have made life easier than not having anything on the car.l, therefore would always recommend some form of protection.

Thank you guys.

Ye Don’t seem to be many 330’s but think it’s because the new price differential between 330 and 340 is c£5k but with the 340 metallic paint, leather was included and higher level of support so most people found 340 works out cheaper if financing. I trued to look at these but decided not to buy new in the end as found this one.

I'm guessing that's Oyster leather? What's it like with the black?
I'm looking at possible one at the moment but not seen it in the flesh?

Hi,

Yeap the Oyster leather, I think it’s beautiful and love it with the ambient lighting but if you do wear jeans regularly then the leather stains very quickly so wouldn’t suggest with kids and it will require cleaning every few weeks. However, with the piano black trip, ambient lighting set to red and the oyster it does feel very plush inside.

Whereabouts are you based as if ever around the area happy for you to take a look if it helps.

Like the black paint vs light interior combo, especially enjoying seeing water beads on the bodywork

Love the illuminated kick plates.

Is the interior illumination an LCI thing?

Thank you Guys, really appreciate all the comments.

The interior lights I believe are part of the interior comfort pack or can be spec’d from new as an option from memory but may be wrong. I think in the past it may have also been referred to as extended interior lights.

Hopefully tomorrow or Saturday will get some more interior photos of the lights if you wish along with the black vs cream colour combo.

Lol !

Here are some pics of it, you may recognise it from the BMW National festival last year where it won concours for the 90’s era to my complete surprise and honour 😊

My brother also picked up his new toy yesterday and it’s been interesting to have that, the f30 lci, e36 m3 and obviously we are selling his f30 328 too.

As you can see we clearly enjoy our cars and are considering starting a youtube channel to document our ownership and experiences to share of things that are more every day as opposed to reviews of multiple cars that you only experience for an hour or so.

Let us know what you think and whether you would want to be a part of it too, in the mean time hope these pictures help.

Ahh nice, I have never owned a red car but love the imola red on the GT2, thankfully didn’t get choice in the colour otherwise may not have ended up with it. Also, believe this is one of the lower mileage examples as is on just under 51k miles at moment.

Always found it strange why they did the GT in green as the BMW M and German motor racing colours have never been green.
