Be interested in seeing dyno power differences.

I am currently busy designing an AP styled intake. Heat shield has been made and pipe being welded up in a few weeks time.

Already asked my local dyno tuners to do a few power runs back to back.
One set with OEM airbox and another with my designed intake.

Mine is now removed lol.
In motion the front air dam is at positive pressure, so a duct can point backwards and be just as effective as one pointing forwards to pick up flies, water, dirt etc.

This is the whole point of the air dam for creating a pressure gradient for the aircon and radiator cooling.

I’ve seen people point ducts forward and lose pressure pre-filter.

Buy a differential manometer and log pre/post filter.

Chances are you spent £600 on no gain, or a loss in the inherent safety of the backward facing duct.

Do GruppeM offer a B58 intake?

Had one on my B48 MINI and it sounded unreal!
