BMW Assist/Marshall experience

Just wanted to share a recent experience of mine whilst on holibobs in Dorset....will be brief as a bit of a long story!

Low coolant warning > topped up > another low coolant warning two days later > drivetrain error code > don’t drive it etc.

Called BMW assist from my campsite Sunday evening, who sent out a Tech the following morning. He diagnosed an EGR valve and cooler fault, and booked me in to Marshall Bournemouth to fix it Tuesday, as I was travelling back home to Sussex on the Weds.

BMW sorted a hire car, like for like (well, a 320) and Marshall Bournemouth had my car fixed by 11am on the Tuesday. Just wanted to shout out the excellent service I got from both BMW Assist and Marshall....well impressed!

That's good you had a positive experience. The EGR is so common you would think they would carry a spare and fit it roadside.

Yeah he did say if it was just the valve he would have done it there and then but the cooler had to be replaced as well so he wanted it done in a workshop
