Front windscreen and door windows are 30% tinted (i.e 70% in), The rear door windows and rear windscreen are 75% tinted (i.e. 25% in). It is the darkest allowed (legally) in my country.

You need to be careful if the transmission % is inspected. The stock glass is already at 70-75%, so adding a 35% tint will take it down to a cumulative 25-26%.

I avoid driving in snow, mainly to stay clear of those who don't know how to drive in it. When I have to drive in snow what impresses me most about Xdrive is being able to back up into my steep driveway at a slow crawl through four inches of snow, not even a hint of slipping, and that's with all seasons. With previous FWD cars with snows I could only get up the driveway going forward with a head start and then spinning the tires all the way to the top. Backing in was impossible. With the 50-50 weight balance I have better traction than my friends AWD pickup trucks.

Definitely. What is not to love about our lovely gt's

It performs really well in the snow. I was considering both F31 LCI and F36 but the ride height is really a plus when it is a lot of snow.

I wish I had put the X-Drive on mine now

I opted for Electric seats with memory instead.

You don't know what you're missing. You simply can't tell that it has AWD until you need it. The US version has both XDrive and electric seats as standard equipment, as well as the sunroof. I'm sure your base price is a lot less than ours, not counting the Queen's share of course.

It's not like you can't get a GT with those items, it's just that we can't get one without them. As for your being stuffed, true. Gasoline is now $1.50 at my local station.

Sweet on the Gas price. But in General you guys do get more bang for your buck over the pond.
