F30 headunit

Hey guys,

I have 2013 320i, and music display is stuck on BMW logo. Bmw says my headunit is gone and needed to be replaced which is expensive.

Any suggestions how can i replace it with a used one from ebay or lkq and if i do that do i need any coding?

I have also attached the picture of the dead headunit.

Hi buddy, if you are looking for the long term better save and get it done from BMW only.

easier to get it done by BMW? Yes, but way more expensive

You will need it coded to your VIN and new FSC codes for your VIN.

There's a company called bimmer tech, google it and give them a call. I was able to get a used com box for cheap and they coded it too my car to fix a Bluetooth issue. Bmw wanted 1600. I got it done for $300

No tune as of yet.
