I checked on RealOEM and as far as i know the part that i need to buy is this:
65509292248

can someone please confirm that for me? i know i need to code that, but i just want to be sure that i buy the right screen for me.
Better if you can provide last 7 vin to verify what realoem says.

Right...but we don't know your vin, so hard for anyone to make sure the screen is compatible....vin only sure way for anyone to know.

All we'll do is take your vin & see what realoem.com shows for the 8.8 part# on the CID. If you've done this, you're probably good then & go ahead with the upgrade.

Good evening,

I have installed an Android 10,25" screen in my F31 2014 with original NBT 6,5" screen
Can I now code with Bimmercode the screen to widescreen so I can see o er the whole screen my original navigation app?

But does that mean that the screen will not work at all, or that the system does not allow to have the right resolution?

I'm asking this because I'd like to put a 8.8" screen on my 2013 f20 with an MMI for CarPlay.. It would be ok for me to have the full screen only on the CarPlay and, on the OEM system, something like in the attached image..
(it the screenshot you can see the OEM system when a 10.25" android screen is plugged)..
Is it possible code with Bimmercode the original car navigation can be shown on the whole screen?

I've got a 2016 F20 with HU_ENTRYNAV and the 6.5" screen (9322122). Suitable F20 8.8" screens (69385203, 9381040, 9371341 according to realoem) are really expensive, but there seem to be plenty of affordable F30 screens that might be suitable (9292248 and 9387453).

Does anyone know if these screens are the same as the F20 screens, but with a different back cover? I can get a F30 screen and the F20 back plastic cover for much less that the price of an F20 8.8" screen, but would this work?

Cheers
Steve

For folks with HU_ENTRYNAV who are running into the display cutoff issues and aren't having luck with Bimmercode - just use E-sys.
I'm facing the same problem as you had.

When I try to Bimmercode the display resolution to "8.8 1280x480p" and display size to "breites display" and then in my Android 10.25" config choose for NBT 8.8 screen it just gives me 2/3 screen with the right part cut-off, see attachment.

So you are saying that we should try to do this with E-sys?

Yeah - esys will fix this problem right up.

On this screenshot it is before coding touch. Then I added following 2 FDL codings and touch also become functional:
CID_TOUCH = aktiv (default nicht_aktiv)
CID_HMI_TOUCH = aktiv (default nicht_aktiv)

Bottom line, it is possible to retrofit touch display w/ touch functionality on EntryNav2
I can 💯 vouch that this works and have just completed the install and code myself using BimmerCode. I have an M240i LCI with entrynav 2 with this HU 8798036 Alpine. I fitted the 8709339 Alpine 8.8 touchscreen and followed what Snipro and Mahe did and it works perfect with 0 issues. Everything working as it should. See Mahe’s post on page 31, he provides the exact code I followed and this worked. I just had a blank screen after reconnecting the battery, but as soon as I coded, I turned the ignition off and back on and it came to life. Massive kudos to SniPro and Mahe for figuring this out against the grain as there are some people who stated earlier in the post that this could not be done with entrynav2. Also if you have this HU you can buy a £10 WiFi antenna and fit as it has the port, then you can activate CarPlay through coding 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

Big thanks to all who provided so much information in this forum!
And special thanks to SniPro, your post lead me to get the 8.8" touch screen instead of just a normal 8.8" screen.
SEE ABOVE——- this is EXACTLY how it is done 👌🏻👌🏻 Bravo gentlemen

Hey guys,

Got NBT EVO ID6 retrofitted with display 938754702 (non touch)

Is it possible to upgrade this to touch version? If so, which part numbers would be suitable?

Ah shit, so i've just bought a pre LCI 430. But it seems it has the LCI nav setup. I had already ordered a pre LCI screen. Looks like i have to return this one and get the good one.

Evening all. First post. Wanting to upgrade to 8.8" screen in my 2016 LCI F34. After much searching I thought part 9387453 would fit. But now I'm not so sure. Car is fitted with Business Nav. VIN is BA28778. It's an LCI car and I've found that 9387453 is an LCI screen.

realoem.com shows 65506822626 would've been the 8.8 screen fitted at factory for your vin & would be the one i'd go with for the upgrade.

I thought this. However, real OEM says you can exchange 9387453 with 6822626 but not the other way round. Both are LCI screens and both are fitted to F34 LCI cars. Fingers crossed because I ordered 9387453 a couple of days ago 🤦🏻*♂️

you might get the 'no signal' error but only way one to know for sure.

realoem shows it's nonexchanble between the two but i know it's not always 100% accurate.

if you do get the no signal, return & go with 65506822626
