ETA - I do think Tanzanite looks good in isolation, it's just a bit brighter than I personally like on a 'behemoth', but it's nothing like some of the awful blues that I've seen on the RRS. It's a lovely shade of blue.

Hi sahajesh
Now you've had some time with the car, what are your thoughts on the B&W? I've just been told HK is no longer available and need to make a decision on my build which would be removal of tech pack (HK, HUD and EBT) and B&W and Skylounge in its place...thoughts?

Given your scenario, it's a touch choice as I keep reading the base stereo is pretty crap. I don't regret the extra cost for B&W and Sky Lounge - the lights on the latter are nice, however having a sunroof in a big car makes a huge difference. If your choice is B&W vs base stereo, then it's worth a listen to the base. A lot of what we listen to is compressed audio but nevertheless, I do like B&W for how it does sound. A few people have commented that it sounds better than your average car stereo and that's just with DAB and Apple Music etc, though that could be due to the number of speakers you get vs anything else. I don't envy your choice as I love the HUD and other Tech Pack components as well as B&W. |
