Did iphone X fit bmw 3 series center cup holder? i just wanted to know because i use iphone 8 plus and it didnt fit and maybe im change to x soon.

This is in another thread but many of us just rest our phones between the e-brake and the center area. There's a little pocket there that it fits nicely. Mine does fly out sometimes (onto my leg) if I get a little crazy

My 8 plus lays on top of the cup holder perfectly, fits right in the cut out facing upwards... I remember when my e30 didn't even have cupholders

This is where I've been putting mine. I have seen some people with some pretty cool mounts.

I have mine on my hip in a case. I don’t need my phone out when driving.

I use a bit of non slip matting and lay my iPhone X on top of the ashtray.

My X fits in the cupholder perfectly with my TPU style case. If the case were like an Otterbox it would not.

I close the door over the cup holder and place it there. Or in the center armrest if I have cups.

Mine fits well with a case, the only exception is when i have two cups or drinks in the cupholders and i tuck it behind them in the storage tray, however if one of both of the cups are removed for a second the phone likes to try and slide down into the cupholders

Your profile says you're getting an M4 soon. Why not invest in the kuda mount with Proclip mount? I had one in my F30s and I transferred it to my F80. Fits perfectly:
