Where can I find a new retractable spoiler?

Had a mishap in the garage and mangled mine. Somehow the the hatch was open higher than usual....
I was quoted $1200 for a new spoiler without the mechanism. That's insane.
Looking for a cheaper option (maybe from a salvage vehicle part or an aftermarket one).
Some Chinese carbon stuff I've found on Aliexpress). No experience.
ANY help would be appreciated!

I'd say you've covered the bases, it's either junkyard or AliExpress. Not much F34 stuff is available here, as the F34 isn't as popular as F30, but the F34 sold very well in China.

$1200 that's crazy.

If you want to keep it original it can be had here for under $370.

You'll just need to get it sprayed.

Possibly interested. I found out from the dealer that the part is basically 1/3 of the cost. Paint and installation are $800, spoiler $400.

What did you replace it with?

You could also just purchase it from the dealer, unpainted and wrap it with CF or black.
Again, Aliexpres is an option.

Mineral grey metallic. I think I'll get it wrapped in carbon if I can find one for cheap.

Ok, I just received my replacement from a salvage yard in the UK. Perfect condition! Now I just need to figure out how to install it. Where could I find such information? No youtube vids out there. Not even sure where I'd find a service manual.

Thank you!
Unfortunately I'm going to have to do more than just install the spoiler. I need to take off the entire assembly because the linkage that deploys it its slightly bent. Even when looking at the schematic, this might be above my pay grade

I bet the OP got it sorted out at least a year and a half back. He hasn't even logged on here since January 2021.
