Can someone please share a review for kw v1? I have edc on my car. Looking for an upgrade that's more confidence inspiring but not too harsh. Stock suspension is too floaty and soft.

Can I get without edc version even if I do?
Because it says
"Electronic damping control has to be deactivated. Deactivation kit is included in the delivery."
So it's not even worth it to pay the extra.

For reference m240i suspension is perfect for me.

Just trying to confirm your goals:

- Replace EDC suspension with non EDC KW V1 coilovers? EDC functionality wlll be negated by EDC Delete module

Did you explore Dinan Shockware which is a software upgrade for EDC ECU?

my goal is the make my 340i handle similarly to my M240i. Since I always drive in sport+ mode so EDC doesn't benefit me much.

yes i thought about that.
1. i need to lower the car anyway
2. it's got 30k miles on it so i figured it's time to get new coilovers.

Since your vehicle is xDrive, lowering beyond 1.5". would not be recommended. I suggest to lower no more than 1".

I think you are on the right track with the V1. It's reliable but not too harsh. Great for a daily driver

it's fine to lower x drive OP from the link you submitted identified broken output shaft bearing bracke and "squishy" motor mounts as the issue with the busted drive shafts.

You should be ok to lower 2-3" all day long without issue.
