Similar problem on 2012 F30 335i with 75k
A/C doesn't work.
Looking for solutions, mechanic suggested replacing a/c compressor or HVAC head unit/controller.

Ive got a 2013 F30 328xi same code 80436E.
I installed a new head unit and i am thinking that is either causing the issue or i pinched/damaged a wire at some point.

voltage at compressor electrical connection is reading 10-12V but clutch wont engage.

If your ac doesnt blow cold air, compressor doesnt kick in probably or you are low in freon. How did you read the freon level? With pro tool?
