Bm3 trans flash questions

So i recently flashed the bm3 trans flash, I currently am on stage 2 ACN on bm3 but when I switch over to sports transmission and short shift or am in the earlier shifting points like 2-3.5k it makes this thunk when shifting, not sure if its normal or if the timing is off (2016 328 LCI N26)

Mine does too...but for me... it's a combo of the LSD locking up and the clamping force of the internal clutch to pressure plate in the auto-tranny. I vaguely remember the flash release notes saying something like an increase in clamping force.

It's not a loud thunk or clunk or bang... but rather a firm connecting sound.

I only get it when I give it a lot of throttle (like around town flooring it or on freeway and I floor it).

I'm just stage 1... I'm an old guy, 91 CA fuel, and running stock cats still. So the +65Hp bump is dramatic enough to keep my happy.

I'm on bm3 stage 2 with the trans flash as well. I also have sport auto trans and sport+ mode coded in.

Mine doesn't make any clunking or other noises, but does shift incredibly fast and hard, especially under full throttle.

the BM3 8 speed TCU flash lugs the engine. It's based on the N55 shift points. Should really get xHP.

its no biggie only under high load, doesn't really bother me and I don't think it damages the tranny
