Hi all! About two or three months ago, I moved into an apartment and with the apartment came a detached small garage. There’s not much you can do really since width wise it’s not that big, but there were definitely a few things on my list that I wanted to do.

Lighting was a MUST. When I first initially moved in, there was zero lighting whatsoever. The garage light didn’t work and the bulb that was in the socket was so yellow, you could barely see a thing. Even during the day I could barely see what I was looking for and at night it was pretty much impossible. Since we’ve all been stuck at home I decided to install everything! Here all the results!

BMS Intake!

Installed the BMS B48 Intake for my 2017 BMW F30 330i. The install was pretty straight forward and took probably around 20-30 minutes tops to install. The difference in sound and performance was worth in my opinion. Sound wise there’s definitely a huge difference, you can hear all the choo choo turbo noises. Performance wise, the butt dyno says about +1-5 hp haha, but the throttle response definitely improved from stock. It must be noted though that I do have the JB+ from BMS as well so it might differ for fully stock cars!

Did a YouTube video as well on Install Process and Sound Comparison!

Thanks to x-ph (Extreme Power House) for getting this to me so quickly!

KG Rear Bumper Extension Splitters/Spats

A little goes a long way!

I went with these because they're the most clean looking splitters I could find in ABS or PP material. Since I have the M-Performance Lip/Side Skirt Extensions, I figured these would look complete the look and I think I was right! All I'm missing is the M-Performance diffuser, but I'm looking to get the B58 M Performance Exhaust to convert to a single tip dual exhaust set up so I could run the M-Performance diffuser with the single/dual tip exhaust outlet.

Video up on the install process, pretty straight forward but if you wanted to see what it looks like!

Looks great! Btw, do you have LED reverse lights? If so, what brand and where did you get them?

Carlinkit Wireless Apple CarPlay Installed!

Installed the Carlinkit Wireless Apple CarPlay for the F30 (NBT). They also make the kit for the CIC which is the older version of the head unit. This unit will work for 1/2/3/5/7, X1-X6 Series. This is definitely the more budget friendly option on upgrading your headunit, especially if you don’t have navigation. iDrive 5/6 retrofits can cost up to $1,000-1,500 after labor and coding is done. For $300 and an afternoon Sunday you can upgrade the stock head unit to have wireless Apple CarPlay!

Some might dislike Apple CarPlay but I think personally with the iDrive ergonomics and button layout, it pairs well with Apple CarPlay. Having everything you need (Spotify, Apple Music, Google Maps, Waze) in one user interface is awesome. And if you get tired of Apple CarPlay you can also switch back and forth between iDrive!

Install process was pretty easy as well! I did a YouTube video for the install process and a walkthrough on the system.

Dialing In My BMW F30: Decontamination Wash, Paint Correction & Applying GTechniq CSL

It’s been about a year now since I’ve gotten my car, and I think it’s time to finally give her a good wash and coating.

I decontaminated the exterior of the car which includes using Adam’s Strip Wash to remove any wax/sealants, then using CarPro Iron-X to remove any embedded iron particles, after that we’re claying the car to ensure we have a smooth and debris-free surface to start polishing!

I used Sonax Perfect Finish for a 1-Step Paint Correction and then apply 1 Coat of GTechniq CSL and then 2 Coats of GTechniq EXOv4 on the paint. I also applied 1 Coat of GTechniq CSL and 1 Coat of EXOv4 on the wheels.

Need to get a better lens or a photographer LOL hard to capture how glossy it is!

Documented the whole process as well! Video is up on Youtube:

Ready for more boost! Installing FTP Chargepipe.

I went ahead and installed the FTP B46/B48 Chargepipe on my 2017 BMW F30 330i. I plan on getting her tuned with bootmod3 soon and I've heard that the number one thing you should upgrade is the chargepipe. I've heard many horror stories of people blowing their chargepipes off when increasing boost pressure (Stage 1/2).

With the FTP Chargepipes installed, we’re ready for more boost and we gained increased throttle response and more audible turbo spool and intake noise.

As always, did a video on the whole install process and my thoughts!

Dual Outlet Conversion OEM 340i Exhaust

Today we’re going to get rid of the single dual tip exhaust and put on a OEM 340i M-Sport Exhaust to achieve that dual outlet look. This should be a fairly easy mod for anyone to do! With a couple of tools and a weekend, this is definitely doable for a weekend warrior.

Not sure if there's a difference between M-Sport vs Base exhausts. I have a feeling there is none! But I could be wrong!

OEM Exhausts are for sale everywhere, on Craigslist, eBay and the forums. You can pick one up for about $200 usually!

It was fairly simple install and took probably about an hour or so!

Old exhaust vs 340i exhaust:

As always! Made a video on the whole install and a sound comparison between the stock exhaust and the stock 340i exhaust!

Update 04/11!

It's been quite a bit since I've done my last update! So far everything with the car has been great, no real issues and I'm creeping up to 50,000 miles. Mods have stayed the same in terms of power mods, however I did have my wheels re-finished to Brushed Aluminum by Vorsteiner as well as I installed a OEM F80 M3 gauge cluster since I had the basic F30 cluster.
