330e M Sport badge emblem wing location

Hello all,

I have purchased 2 x genuine M Sport Chrome Emblem Badge size 45x15mm to place on the wings of my 2016 330e m sport, can anyone give me the correct location to fit them please?

I have searched and looked online but I could not find the correct position for a hybrid with the charging flap.

Thanks in advance
J

Mine came without and I'm glad. I'd rather not advertise "steal me."

Mine has enough on wheels, shifter, steering wheel...and I painted an "M" on my rear trunk in green housepaint as an homage to my last ugly green bmw...rip.

I'm ocd, honestly, I'd be frightened to add an emblem that wasn't there, though I did remove my xDrive badge as I was ashamed that I didn't have the patience to wait for a rwd 6-spd.

I don't follow exchange rates, though I suspect the usd isn't what it used to be.

The car 'could' have come from the factory with them, but many here delete them. I'm fine mine didn't come with...as I get into NYC often enough to not want to stand out. It's a manual and I have wheel locks, so suspect they'd just get pissed and break all my windows, not being able to drive it. )

I have had a look at mine, kind of wish I hadn't as it may mess with my OCD...

I have measured both from the bottom of the wing at 22cm to the bottom of the badge.

and measured from the rear of the wing to the start of the badge...

as far as I know these are from the factory having bought it nearly new, not a fan of them to be honest, would have rather had the little i badges

Thanks for taking the time to post the measurements Thirtye, sorry it’s taken me a few days to reply I didn't receive an email reminder that you replied for some reason.

Now your saying your not a fan I am having second thoughts lol..... Seems quite a few owners prefer not to have them which surprises me as I thought it’s a bonus knowing it’s the M sport version?

Really appreciate it.

The general consensus amongst enthusiasts is that M badges on a non-M car are a bit tacky, despite Euro versions coming with the fender badges from the factory (North American models did not get the fender badges). I myself personally prefer the cleaner look without.

Those in the general public who don't know won't care. Those who do know and care will know it's an M-Sport by the significantly different front & rear bumpers, side skirts/rocker panels, and the steering wheel. There are plenty of design elements that make it clear it's an M-Sport, the badge on the fender isn't what makes it a dead giveaway.

That said, ultimately, it's your car. Do what you like and what makes you happy. Just know that most people on this forum are "anti-superfluous M badge".

Thanks for the update on the measurements.

The main reason I brought the badges was a work colleague asked if it was a M Sport lol. Even though it has all the m sport logo's on the wheels and the m sport plus package he still didn't notice.

Thanks again for the posts and advice.
