2011 E90 TPMS on a 2018 F30
Will they work?
I have a set of winter wheels from approximately the 2011 model year that I have been using on my 2006 330i. I recently sold the 330i and replaced it with a 2018 340i. I have a strong feeling the TPMS changed in that time period and I’m going to need to replace the TPMS units with a newer version. Am I correct? Assuming I am correct is it possible for me to drive with non-compatible sensors? I don’t drive much in the winter and when I do it’s mostly just around the city.

correct. not compatible. you can use the wheels, itll just give you and error until compatible sensors are installed.
