And these codes have already been mentioned several times in this topic (even here on this page). All you have to do is flip / undo them. |

Thanks for reply atzebmw
I've read the topic and saw that. But these codes were for coding TPMS, I would like to make it in opposite way. And there are some differences between my instruction and present in the thread (red marks on attachment). I would not want to change to much, that's why I ask first . 1.DSC and FEM have to be modified as well? 2.If DSC have to be changed, should >DSC_CT01....RDCi_l< stay the unchanged (nicht_active default)? 3.>HU_NBT....FORTSCHRITTSANZEIGE< the same (nicht_active default) ? |

I have no way of checking the values at the moment, but your values seem to be from a different model (maybe 5 series) because the Kombi L6 BO did not exist in the 3/4 series and HUCIC only briefly in 2012.
But you can still search and test your values. Otherwise the other values here from this topic, but vice versa. |

Depends on how you coded it in the first place.
Using ESys add 2VB to the FA and VO Code For BimmerCode use restore function to get back.

UPDATE: Just follow coding like in this post to revert back to the original TPMS if VO coding is not working, just did all this manually and i have TMPS back - https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...4&postcount=19 Last edited by dzeb; 04-24-2022 at 10:38 AM.. |

Hi Guys
Im a car dealer and we sell alot of f30s and off course offer upgraded alloy wheels, i was chatting to a friend who mentioned he knew someone that could code them back to using the abs readings and thats how ive came across here. Im fairly good with diagnostics but havent done much coding before, i dowloaded the pdf and read through it with regards to removing 2vb in esys, im just wondering is that an add on to the coding from the orginal post or is that all that needs done to remove it along with pulling the fuse or disconnecting. Thanks Peter Looking forward to your help |

Removal of 2VB is on page 3 of the PDF. 2VB is a VO (Vehicle order) code that contains the RDC (TPMS monitoring system) collection of dependent codes for all modules. The fallback is then the older tyre rotation system. The fuse pulling is not required for all cars, I would check first if it's needed.

Hi all,
trying to code out TPMS on a 2017(67) F30 320D managed to do all the coding but coding the HU failed, i assume its because BMW have updated it to the latest istep and my PSDZ files are out of date (see below pic), does this sound correct? TPMS error is gone and car says its reading pressures, but after a 20min drive it never goes past that. (doesnt really bother me as its only to get it through an MOT as im sick of replacing TPMS sensors). But if i can get it to read from the ABS sensors then id like to get that going Cheers |

If you only FDL code then it should be no issue. You Should however, update your psdzdata files if you are VO coding as there will be updates and bug fixes that may change the structure of the CAFD files and if yours's don't match you won't be able to VO code.

it was only the HU that failed to take the coding so this may be why its a little bit in limbo with regards to resetting. |

Well, I say coded out. All appeared to go ok, got an RDC warning when I next started the car, inialized the system and all tyres went green and no more warnings.
It’s now doing it every time I start the car, have to re-initialise each time, occasionally get a couple of RDC Error but will eventually initialise (takes a few seconds to a minute) and never get another warning as long as the car is not turned off. Have to be stationary to initiate the reset still, option is greyed out once moving. Any suggestions as to what might be causing it to reset every time? Mines a 09/2011 F10, wondering if maybe pulling the RDC fuse in the boot will or what else to try? The list above shows a setting for FEM module but the guide doesn’t say to code that module, would changing this setting help? |

A little more digging and not having FEM in my F10 (I have FRM) but using Bimmercode that option isn't in my FRM:
FEM_01 > RemoteControl 30D0 > RC_RDC_ENABLE = nicht_aktiv Also found that: HU_CIC > EXBOX 3001 >RDC_SAFETY = aktiv was set to nicht_aktiv. All changing it to aktiv did was to re-display the incorrect TPMS pressures and temps on the Tyre Display. Wondering if coding the RDC module may sort it? Or if on my 2011 F10 I might have to go through and VO code all the ECU's with the 2VB option removed (except DME of course!). Any pointers would be welcomed List of ECU below |
