Had to re-aim the fog lights though, they pointed far too low initially. But I love the cut-off it has and how the white blends with the angel eyes.

Will post the cut-off/output soon just for those whom are on the boarder of purchasing the fogs.

can we still do that corner light on with DRL and LED fog lights ??? I thought that I read somewhere that the newest firmware didn't allow us to code it??

I have a 2014 BMW 328d and it just got flashed with the newest firmware to fix a DEF sensor issue...

Thanks

DRL and LED Fog Lights? That's new to me. But Cornering Lights when the lights are set to AUTO and only when the Headlights are on, coded and still works fine for me. Software is from November 2014 - F020-14-11-502.

Well sorry I mean, DRL + Corner light + LED Fog Light Without having your Xenon lights on. Sorry about the confusion

usually its the opposite, "I just got my car, now let me start modding!!" (if you didn't pre-order mods like some people do)

That would be me. Was gonna order these too, but the prices have gone up quite a bit. After shipping these are like a $400 mod.

I just ordered a pair of LED fogs for my 2012 mod. Have one question. My car does not have the cornering function on the oem halogen fogs.

But if coded right, will I be able to get this function on the new led fogs?

I have never coded on my F30, so this will be my first thing to code :-)

Yes, cornering function can be coded regardless if it is the OEM Halogens or using the LED fog lamps. I had coded it with the OEM Halogens and they work perfectly fine with the F32 LED fog lamps as well.

Okey, thanks

Have read that the leds have better flow than the halogens. So It would be a great feature to have the cornering ability with the leds :-)

how bright are the LEDs and how far do they travel distance wise?

I currently had HIDs installed in my fogs and i love them.
im just OCD about the colors not matching the angel eyes lol

Hi,

Have Halogen lights and have changed the Foglight bulbs to a brighter white. My question is how do you aim the fog lights -- mine seem to point to low?

Thank you very much

They're decently bright but not blindingly bright. But the LEDs have a wide range, i'll take a photo when I have some time.

There is a hole in the fog light surround/grille as per this photo from ECS Tuning

That little hole in the top left of the fog light, use a long Philips screwdriver. Counter-clockwise should be up and clockwise should be down.

If you look at both the left and right LED lamps (just look at ECS Tuning or around the forum), they both have a blue cap.

That fifth picture is a comparison of the LED vs Halogen housings.

I know, just wondering what the blue cap is for. remove it and underneath its identical to the halogen.

Hi there guys. I was wondering if any one can help.

I have followed the coding instructions and the flickering has stop. But I still have the foglight error on the dash and when I turn the steering the cornering light nothing happens?

It will be great if some one can help me out.

I would recode everything again.
Then erase all DTCs

Should work, I have not had any issues, I had to redo all my coding after a dealer update and that worked fine as well.

Good Luck

PS: please update if you were able to figure out what was causing your coding issues.

This also works with the wheel mounted. Just go full lock to the left when doing the driver side (other side vice versa).
With the wheel in place, you can tug the fender liner behind the wheel, just like you did with the brake disc.

When putting the new LED fog in place, I found it useful to pull up on the mount. It might not slip into place easily (it didn't with my M-Sport bumper, there was a gap), but when you pull up from the inside, the fog will find its way.

This looks so much better than the yellow fogs. Plus, the cornering lights still work with the LED, which is a bonus.
Just code everything to 100%, otherwise they will start to flicker after a few seconds!
I tried to do this last night on the left (driver) side without removing the wheel, by rotating the wheel all the way out, as suggested, and also all the way in. One of the two screws holding the fog light in place was impossible to get to, no matter what i did. Granted, i didn't have the proper T25 driver as i was using a T25 driver from my bicycle's multi-tool. I am going to get a proper T25 driver today and give it another shot. If that does not pan out, the wheels are coming off.

How did you all manage to get the right-side fog light installed?

On my 328 sport-line the left fog was pretty easy to install (stubborn screws aside) but the right-side has an auxiliary radiator blocking access to the inboard screw mount. I stopped there because it seemed that even if I got the halogen fog out the slightly deeper LED fog might have trouble fitting with that radiator.
