MHD quirks and bugs

So I was watching the video below on his experience with the MHD tune (he drives a N55 335i). Some things he mentioned were odd and maybe concerning. He mentioned after a cold start, the car would shut off on its own, said that this occurred to him twice. Another weird issue is during a cold start, the initial rpms were low and then it surged, happens often.

Have any of you guys experienced such issues or other bugs with the MHD tune?

Never heard of quirks.. maybe he just had bad gas at some point..

He is talking about an e90 n55 not the f30 n55.

Can't listen to every bmw bro online. The title is definitely misleading. For the cost and features you get, yes it is definitely "worth it". Did his car react badly to a DME change, not saying it didn't, but how well taken care of was his car before he turned up the boost for burbles and views? Did he do all the necessary maintenence before straining the car with a tune? Unlikely.

There is no evidence of MHD causing any of this, particularly on the F3x N55 platform. And i agree your title is misleading and from the little bit of the video i just watched, so is the video, claiming that MHD caused these things.

Alright that's good to know, I guess the person in the video was the outlier. I'm actually glad the majority of MHD users aren't experiencing issues
