I'm confused. This report says the 2013 328i is BMW's least reliable model...
16. (+3) BMW, 7 Series*, 328i* http://www.usatoday.com/story/money/...ility/1666005/ Looks like the above article might have switched the most/least reliable. The video of the 328 at the track is pretty impressive! I had one as a loaner, and the auto-stop/start does suck as much as they say it does...

It may be reliable, but the new F30 3 series became a softer animal. Can't believe that the Cadillac ATS beat it in the handling department. .

While I don't doubt that a different set of tires would benefit the F30, the ATS' handling abilities over the 3-Series is more than just tires and by reading some reviews, it's just a better handling car. While the F30 is still a great car overall, it has gone soft to some degree.

That's good to hear. I just bought one about 30 days ago, my first BMW actually. So far it's a blast to drive but i'm having an odd static noise coming from one of my tweeters, but i'lls save that explanation for a different thread.

Yes, it is. So much for this nonsense that Consumer Reports does not know how to test cars and their reviewers cannot drive. Owning your own test track also has advantages. They also nailed the engine issues with the 328. Last edited by Elk; 10-30-2012 at 07:37 PM.. |
