If I recall, you don't need an FSC code to activate the speed limit information. It can be done through normal coding. I believe you have to have a certain type of camera configuration to get it to work. I'm going to go the cheap route and buy a Max 360 detector from Escort. I had the speed limit info on a car I rented in Germany. It's a great feature. I have no idea why it can't be standard equipment.

Maybe it does. I have it coded in my car also. I can select it on the information display but it doesn't register on the dash display as in your case also. I've also heard that you need a certain type of camera like I said before.

I've heard that it does need one, but I think shawnsheridan would have a better idea on this one than I do.
