Active exhaust
So I'm thinking about getting an m performance active exhaust for my 435d and am wondering if anyone has fitted and active exhaust with a custom twin exit 435i/440i style back box?

Maybe 6 cylinder diesel sounds a bit louder, but diesel aways is a diesel. |

I can see on the m performance site they do an active sound exhaust. Just can't make out if theres a speaker of some sort attached to a back box and if so could it be removed and put onto a 440i style back box. I'd like a nice exhaust note without the loss of consumption on my 1000 miles a week commuting

I’m coming of petrol cars and my 330d is my first diesel car.
I must say that it doesn’t sound like a diesel at all. I’m definitely planning on installing a performance exhaust. Please keep us posted on what you chose |

I've went for the m performance active sound exhaust. It's a little pricey at £1600 fitted but reviews of it say it sounds really good. Very much like a v8 petrol. Hopefully should have It installed in next week or so

I'd be interested to hear before and after video/audio clips.
