Wondering if anyone has had this. Recently noticed no matter what I do cannt get spotify to work anymore in the car.

I can stream via USB or bluetooth which is odd itself as results in different levels of volume but cant get spotify app to load at all.

Car is 2014 NBT unit with advance bluetooth coded. Using Iphone Xs on latest iOs.

Could it be case putting basic bluetooth doing an update or something more weirder

Had the same issue a few months ago.
Got the software in the car updated and it worked again.

I had/have this issue. I found that turning off syncing my entire phone directory, contact photos, etc. greatly decreased the amount of time before Spotify shows up as an option. My guess is that the phone/car is doing a full sync each time you get in, and the more it has to sync, the longer it takes.

However it can still take a few good minutes, or not even show Spotify at all sometimes.

Very annoying!

This is with a 2018 340 F30 and an iPhone XS.

Thanks after ages trying downloaded softrware from BMW idrive and the car took it. Since then M Laptimer, Spotify all back very odd
