No signal on display of retrofitted NBT EVO after VO coding
Hello I have tried to VO code my nbt evo headunit and have made some noob mistakes.
A little info on my retrofit I own a 2013 F30 and purchased a used NBT EVO from Europe. I do have an emulator installed as well. Head unit was working before coding but language was in German. I tried following the coding guidelines for VO coding an F30. This is the procedure I followed In coding under expert mode: read FA>save fa>edit fa (this is were i changed vin number to donor vin of head unit and added options 609,6NS)>save SALAPA element>save fa>calculate fa In VCM under expert mode: load modified fa>calculate fa>click on master tab>write fa fp In coding under expert mode: Load modified fa>activate modified fa>read svt>go to nbt folder and code ecu not fdl code. After coding finished with errors and now no signal on display is shown. The CAFD file is missing as well under the nbt2/evo folder. I now know that i shouldn't have written the donor vin into the modified FA. Is there anything I could try to recover the Head unit? Please help. Thanks in advance |

Then you only have to "Detect Caf for Swe" on the right side. Click on the Button, choose the newest cafd and click OK. Then try again to code the nbt2. |
