Maybe 10 - 15 seconds. If it doesn't start the flash press and hold the back button to reboot.

You can also force flash by pulling the power cable from the mmi, place the flash drive in the usb, press and hold the back button while reconnecting the power cable. Keep holding the back button until you see the flash screen with the progress bar.

Thank you! Turned out my USB was formatted for FAT16. FAT32 did the trick!!

Thank you for your help getting me up and running. Literally my favourite mod! Ironically after spending over 10K on rims and wrap last week!

upgraded software from 2.1.0.2.gpe.b to 2.1.0.6 .gpe.b no issues
but cant upgrade mcu from 20.4.2.14 to 20.06.02. after i started mcu upgrade process, screen flashes then moves back to idrive , waited 2~3 minutes , went to check in mmi set up menu, still 20.4.2.14

i had both sw and mcu upgrade files in the same usb, do i need to delete the sw upgrade file first? or i need to upgrade to 20.05.09 mcu first before upgrading to 20.06.02

what does the mcu upgrade file actually do?

btw i noticed speed improvement from navigating in the UI after the sw upgrade

edit: weird, turned on my car the next day and was ready to upgrade from 20.5.9.10 then upgrade to 20.06.02 to see if that worked but did 1 last system check before i upgraded and it showed 20.06.02 , guess it just needed time or a reboot

I just tried this on a Road Top box and it didn't work. It updated OK then showed Invalid Update. None of the buttons in the menu worked apart from Setup and couldn't launch CarPlay.

About to put the last working one back on.

Is there a way to remove the Siri Suggestions on the CarPlay Dashboard (the "Food Drinks Shopping" tile)? I set that off in the CarPlay settings on the Andream and also turned off Siri Suggestions on my iPhone as well.

So I install the andream NBT MMI in a F36 and it works good. But there is three things that I need. I try to update to the new software but it gives me this screen to put in a password. I try the passwords on the first page but they don't work. Any ideas? Second, what settings for call is everyone using and what's your EQ setting for music?
