I did a few easy things. Wireless charger, LEDs under the seats, LCI trim, and the plastic ambient light pieces in the door. Was trying to tastefully upgrade the stock lighting.

Thanks for sharing! I saw many people mentioned upgrading to LCI trim. What are the major differences between pre and LCI?

The LCI console is different (with option of wireless charging), the trim around the radio is gloss black and has ambient lighting like the doors and floors do, the AC controls have a different font on the screen which is white in the daytime and amber at night (like the cluster or HUD is).
Those are the 3 that I can think of offhand, and they are possible to retrofit on a ‘15. |

I have the wireless charger that's on my phone mount. You can see it in my picture in the above post. Helps as i can charge my phone and look up directions if needed. It's not the greatest mount ever but it's $25 and gets the job done.

I don’t have any phones that charge wirelessly, but someone did a custom retrofit of a charger into the drivers glovebox... if your car is so equipped. Seems like a cool idea if you don’t have the LCI console.

Charger works perfect, won't slip and fits big phones (iPhone XS Max) even with bottles in the cup holder ( barely but fits). Fairly easy to install but you need a stronger trim tool, the one provided is not ideal but can work with some patience.

Has anyone with a RHD BMW found a
M shifter cover for our cars? The m sport shifters of LHD and RHD cars look identical apart from the side unlock buttons being on opposite sides so I can't figure out why all the shifter panels say LHD only!? |

I’ve found another mod to add to the list.
F80 shifter trim has a leather knee bolster on it. Useful... not really. Cool? Very much! Also the sliding armrest on f80/82 is leather rather than alcantara so a better fit visually for the f30, imo. I bought a complete f82 center console to get the sliding armrest, lighter blanking plugs, and f80 shift trim off it. (Was cheaper than buying parts individually), As a bonus, now I have a spare rear console section with the AC, rear lighter and rear seat heat controls as spares.
