Headlight vertical aim failure? (Halogens)
Hey guys, I recently got this warning on my idrive on my 2013 bmw f30 with halogen headlights. The lights won't move up or down at all now either with the
small wheel numbered 0-2 or when the car initially starts when the lights automatically move up and down. I've taken a look in the back of the headlights from the panel in the arch and all looks ok, the actuators are both plugged in and wiring looks ok. Any ideas of what could be causing the problem? Thanks |

I've had that alarm up too (unresolved) but mine was after replacing my light switch unit, minus the height toggle -cos my Depo headlights can't be manually adjusted anymore (and I was told that the presence of the non functioning toggle was an MOT failure)
If all fuses are okay maybe it's the switch itself, which easier job to start off first than headlight replacement. Switches on fleabay are from about £15 upward. |
