Question Springs matching Koni Sport shocks AND Msport ride height? F30

Perhaps noone has ever tried this but is there a spring that matches good to Koni Sport yellow shocks AND also matches somewhat the ride height that Msport cars have?

I dont want more drop than that. Any advice is appreciated. HR sport and Eibach have those weird rakes and go 30mm lower or more vs stock, which is more than Msport does.

i am not aware of aftermarket springs at m-sport height however you may want to check into running M3 springs as in the thread above.

How sensitive are you to precise suspension height setting and ability to adjust the height if needed? It's very difficult to achieve precise suspension setting with springs only approach. Springs tend to settle.

Only coilovers can provide precise height control.

Coils are not what Im after here due to cost and me not tracking my car or having desire to tinker with setups.

Thanks to FaRKle on this forum, I now know the BMW part numbers for RWD 328i MSport springs are 31336851920 front and 33536851930 rear.

There's a few spring variances depending on options but that's what a normal 328i M Sport car has.

I have standard suspension. I am ordering M Sport springs and Koni shocks for M Sport suspension. This should lower my car 10-15mm from standard height. It will be OEM M sport height with the better Koni shocks.

Why go aftermarket when what you want is OEM? Just get get the OEM Msport springs.

That seems like a great way, and something im after exactly. Question is - will this actually match well? Do you mind updating somewhere on once youve had this isntalled? My shocks have done 60k km, not too tired, but feeling it. Id rather go with Konis and springs sooner if the setup works.

The Koni or any other shocks are designed to work with OEM springs so they will be fine with it. The reason I went with Koni is I hear the Bilstein B8 shocks are pretty stiff on compression and lack the rebound of the Koni.

Other way around. The Bilsteins have more rebound than compression (excessive rebound). The Bilsteins probably have more compression than the Konis too, since twin tubes tend to have less compression than mono-tubes. Additionally, Bilstein mono-tubes tend to have less hysteresis than Koni twin-tubes. You can see my B6 damper dynos here.

I just know that the Koni usually ride more smoothly over bumps. They have user adjustable rebound and compression is fixed.
