I'm week 40 build, delivery week 43. Haven't checked this week though... Hope it hasn't been delayed again. Was supposed to collect September 1st... Wasn't impressed.

Genius today said the new production date might be a system error, although I think he was clutching at straws for an explanation as to why it'd gone from 1200 back to 1100
Fortunately the part ex price for my F31 is fixed in the contract paperwork so my deal is unaffected by any delays
That said, if there's another delay beyond this one, I might well cancel and keep my F31 330D for another year. Have just done a 2,000 mile holiday trip in France and had forgotten just what a good car it is

Possibly it's worrying that it isn't just one person saying there build date has been pushed back.

Dealer told me on Saturday my delay was due to digital cockpit..... looks to be common in specs above too?

That's interesting. If my delay were to extend beyond 5 weeks, I could live without the digital cockpit tbh, a nice to have for me, not an essential. I'll see what my dealer says in the morning
