A couple of mods
I picked up my new grille this morning which is the last (for now) of the mods I will be doing to my new car. Thanks to Teaston for the heads up on where to get the Grille.
I think the Black gloss grille really works with Alpine white. I've also changed my bonnet and boot badges along with the wheel caps. I know the car is in need of a good wash, you wouldn't think I spent 2 or so hours on it last Saturday although I have done about 600 odd miles this week. I know what ill be doing this coming Saturday morning. Cheers Jay

You're welcome mate!
It appears fly season has started in your area already!! So are you leaving the twin exhaust mod for now? Black grilles look awesome on AW! |

It certainly has mate, bloody things are everywhere. I will leave them for the time being but I'm sure it wont be long until I'm wanting to change something.

I didn't even think about that mate, did you not get them with yours? I assumed they all came with the same.

I would really like to do the twin exhaust mod but sure they don't do it for the 2.0i, do they? sure you would know.

It will have the best outcome. Strange thing though, on the parts catalog it shows the 320i as already having a twin exhaust!

Estoril Blue has always been one of my personal favourite colours so I was pleased to put some work into this lovely 320i. The car was first of all pre-rinsed, snow foamed, wheels & arches cleaned, following this it was then de-tarred, IronX applied to remove fallout and gently clayed where needed. The car was then taken inside to be gently dried off using soft towels and an electric air dryer. The next stage was a single stage machine polish with 3M Ultrafina before a full CarPro Eraser wipedown and sealed with Finish-Kare FK1000p Hi-Temp sealant, and after this Finish-Kare Pink wax as the final wax. The car was then given a full wipe down with Finish-Kare 425 Ultra slick body wipe. Tyres treated with CarPro PERL. All pics are now on Photobucket for you :-) http://s1265.photobucket.com/user/de...W%20F30%20320i Let me know if you've had any problems! Nick Goodall www.detailmycar.co.uk / info@detailmycar.co.uk
