Sounds like you came across someone who is lazy to deal with an out of state buyer. I've experienced this before.
Yet,my last 4 leases were out of state-don't give up in your search for a good deal

What kind of discounts are common today for 2018 340i xDrive (before incentives)?

I've found one a few hours away that checks all the boxes but would like to know the right price to shoot for before starting negotiations with the dealer. It looks like the car has been on the lot for a while and with the model year change around the corner I'm hoping they are motivated to move.

I am being told the base mf for now is 0.00166.

Also I see there's a $3000 "Dealer Allowance". Am I able to negotiate that as well?

This is what the dealer is telling me is available:
$2000 Lease Credit
$1000 Loyalty
$1000 UDE Trip credit
Total $4000 in credits for the lease deal.

So I'm looking at Invoice - $4000. I feel there should be more on the table, no?

Hi,

Please delete this message if it is not appropriate mods.

Can someone PM me with some dealerships/sales people that are willing to sell custom order 340xi on decent deals to an out of state buyer. I'm in PNW and i'm having a hard time getting any dealer to get less than 1-2% on sale price.

I'm looking for a lease. 12k/3yr.

Incentives will vary region to region but should be 2 or 3k for the credit. What I would suggest you do is get the full breakdown of the quote from your dealer.

MSRP
Sale Price
Residual
Money Factor
incentives
Fees

then post it up in its full detail here. Then everyone can make sure you are getting the best deal possible. Thats the best and only way IMO to make sure. Remember sale price is just part of the deal

Thanks. The image grab is from SouthshortBMW in the Boston area, where I am. Others in New England are posting a $3k credit but my dealer is telling me the lease credit is $2k. I’m trying to figure out the discrepancy / what that $3k dealer cash is for.

Here’s the deal detail quoted from the dealer:

MSRP: $57160
Sale Price: $52,000
Incentives: ($2000 lease credit, $1000 ULtimate trip credit, $1000 loyalty)
+$925 acq fee, Title, doc fees
Residual: 61%
MF: 0.0016

Appreciate to feedback.

perfect, list the doc fees and any other fees if there are any.

I dont personally comment on other dealers quotes, I feel thats bad business, but others in here will let you know. Lots of great peeps on this forum.

Doc fee is $400.

I'm just trying to confirm the lease credit / dealer allowance question.

What should you try and get for a retired courtesy car? Looking at a relatively loaded 340xi (60k MSRP, I believe) 3400 miles. What do you think? 3k lease incentive also. What, at least 18%? It's a 2018 as well.

Hi again guys, I've figured out that the "Dealer Allowance" is just a BMWFS-free rebate ($3k), similar to the Finance cash.

That being said, here is the full work up for my deal. Let me know what you think.

2018 330 xDrive Wagon (F31)
MSRP: $57,160
Sales Price: $52,000
Rebate : $4000 (2k lease credit, 1k Ultimate Trip, $1000 loyalty.

Lease Residual (61%): 34,867.60
MF: 0.00166

Fees
Acquisition: $925
Registration: $125
Title: $57.50
Doc: $459

Pmt: $533.75.

Let me know what you all think!

Thanks!

That looks awful, you could basically finance it at a similar monthly for 6 years. $61k for a 3 series has to be almost fully loaded. You can get much better cars for that much money. You want typically at least 7-8% off MSRP BEFORE incentives/rebates, to make it seem like a decent deal.

A good target in general for leasing is shoot for 1% of MSRP monthly.

Inked my deal today. Added the Lease End protection ($1200) and rolled all fees into the payment. Came out to $620/Mo. (Adjusted below)

My ride is pretty sweet and very unique:

Sunset Orange / Oyster 330xi Touring
Shadow Sport, Track Handling packages
M Variable suspension
Fully loaded except Executive package and no safety nannies. A very interesting one-off build.

Will post more elsewhere when I take delivery on Monday.

Back here after 2 years and still want the 3 series. Looking at a 330i Xdrive, here is the deal breakdown. I am looking to get in at 0 down except payment and fees at inception. Ideal monthly payment is 400 - 450 USD.

I live in PA and this dealer is in Northern VA.

MSRP = $49,265
Discount Savings $3,934 before rebates (Dealer discount - 8% off MSRP)
Selling Price = $45,331 before rebates
Doc fees = $499
Other Fee = N/A
Acquisition Fee $925
Total Cap = $30,219.81
Net Cap = $28,735
MF = 0.00206
Residual = 61%, $30,051.65
Base Payment =
Tax = PA has a use tax, the monthly payment is taxes as opposed to the full vehicle price, It is 9%
Total payment = $556 estimated
Due on delivery = $2,127 estimated

What you folks think?

Seems very high. MF is very high. Also numbers don't add up as far as I can tell, my calculator was showing $600/mo with your numbers not $556 which is ridiculous for a 330 IMO (and that was not incl. tax, reg).

Whats the decent lease payment for a 330i xDRIVE in PA region. Lets say the MSRP is approx. 49,000 USD. Not sure if you can get one for less if you want the NAV and driver assistance package. I see many of you posting 550 is 340i territory but I am only being offered a 330i for the same price. Are folks putting Money down?

I was at 627 a month on a 59k 340. Only put first month and dmv down. For a 49k car you should be looking to pay about 500 a month with only first month and dmv upfront

Thanks for your input. So basically 1% of MSRP?

If thats case another dealer quoted a 446$ 0 down on a loaner 330i Xdrive with same MSRP must be around 49000 USD. Is that reasonable or should I target around 390 or 380 USD?

Thanks. What calculator do you use? Anything that you can share?
Do you think its worth negotiating with the dealer after this initial deal?

If thats case another dealer quoted a 446$ 0 down on a loaner 330i Xdrive with same MSRP must be around 49000 USD. Is that reasonable or should I target around 390 or 380 USD?
Loaners cars should have huge discounts. Like north of 20% off msrp. Dont payment shop. Know the full deal and get the best deal. Lower payments dont always equate to a better deal.

Usually aim for 1% of MSRP all in. Take your payment with tax included and multiply by 35...add in your upfront payment/driveoff and divide by 36. Get that as close to 1% as possible
