How to price an F34?
My neighbor is selling his 2018 330i xDrive GT. I love it, but I have no idea what a fair price is. I've found literally zero 330s on autotrader. Carvana and carmax have a $7,000 offer difference which makes matters worse.
It's a weird car because the supply is next to none, but demand for it is also pretty small. How'd you all go about it? I also assume it'd be expected for me to pay less than one of those car-byuing apps? |

KBB is pretty good. One problem with all sources is that most of the cars you'll find listed on them are dealer listings, not private sale. Private sale should come in around 5 to 10% less than a dealer. Another thing to look at is trade in value, what he'd likely get trading it in to a dealer. Offer him 10% above that and you'll both be getting a good deal.

Just as one semi-timely data point: In December I bought a 2015 328i GT x-drive, from a dealer, w/96k for $17k. It's in great shape, and it's the best and nicest car I've ever driven. Good luck!
