The stock intake is a cold air intake. Beware of the advertising hype. If you can see the air filter when you open the hood it's not a cold air intake.

Not really worth it to be brutally honest. BMW is known for having refined cold air intake setups. The most "performance" to be gained MIGHT be a high flow, drop in air filter.
Without a doubt... money would be better spent elsewhere if your aim is to make the car a bit quicker. |

Living in a dusty region also not good behaviour to use it, found some small particles passed thought mine high flow air filter (used in stock box) and switched back to default. Nice sound but it not worth it

Whatever you do, avoid the CTS intake. Doesn't fit the F34*, and poor customer service.
* - their website said it did, but should be corrected now after my ordeal |
