Help to understand remaped 335d pls ..

Ok so today I had my 335d remaped got to the tuner who said initially that they had Dyno compatible but when I got there they said we have a problem it isn't compatible with xdrive and I'd been told wrong by sales,
but nevertheless they have very very good feedback so they did the remap taking it to 360bhp & 700nm, Im sure it feels faster but can't help thinking is it a placebo as I'm looking for the improvement?
The reason I wonder is the sports displays have been altered to show higher bhp & torque but when I push the car the needle does not go about around 320bhp on the display before it shifts gear up.
The tuner says these displays are not accurate? Does anyone elses displays show the fully claimed bhp on the moving needle.
Or can anyone offer any information m
Thanks

The displays are a toy - not a dyno!

I'd not have bothered getting it remapped if I couldn't get before & after, proper dyno runs myself, but that's another argument.

Where abouts in the UK are you. Plenty of places have dynos you can pay to use. Or use a dragy or vbox to test your performance?

Always, always, always get dyno runs before and after the remap, making sure that the dyno settings have not been changed.

Without this back to back comparison of dyno graphs how do you know whether the remap is delivering according to the tuner's claims, and that the power and torque profiles are acceptable ?
