Recommendations for car wash hose

Often over looked but so important....does anyone have any recommendations for a hose?

Its gotta be light weight as im in a wheelchair and dragging a regular hose around really makes this a burden. Ive used the cheaper expanding hoses but they never seen to last that long.

If anyone has any good experiences with a certain brand please let me know.

Havent really seen this topic ever discussed.

I use Gilmour flexogen hose and am very happy with them. They're not too heavy but you might pick it up from your local hardware store first to see if you like them!

I went from a very cheap one (was bending constantly) to a cheap one (was bending often enough) to finally spend some more money on Gardena (has never bent)! Difficult to comment on weight though.
But general advice - spend some more money now and forget about the issue, otherwise you will end up spending money numerous times as I did.

Sounds like you may want a 5/8 hose with 3/4 fittings may save on weight for you. Now for my choice this is gonna sound weird but continental garden hose is my bet not super cheap but like others have said get what you pay for

The ones I have are a flat hose, not a collapse expand hose. Like a tiny version of a fire hose. Nice becasue they can be easily rolled up amd as you do so the water is forced out. Also not particularly heavy like the usual semi rigid traditional hose.

I’m sorry that I forget the name brand but I got them at Walmart a couple years back and they are green striped.
Edit. “Expert Gardener”brand, Fiber Jacket product name.

Really nice product, like it a lot.
