Anyone else with having issues with launch control post-flash? I wanted to do a couple launches the other day, and launch control wouldn't activate (I put the car in Sport+, stood on the brake, and mashed the gas beyond the kickdown point). I've done it once or twice before I flashed it, but now it won't engage.

Yes, drove home after work (36 miles) and tried it around there. I'm 85% sure it has to do with the tune. Either the coding for LC was altered, or (idk if this makes sense or not, just hypothesizing) the added torque triggers it to disable? I've emailed Nic from AA to see if he can look into the coding.

I have a 6 speed but I’m curious to hear.

How does the car feel power wise and what stage?

Still no determination on why LC won't work. I'm planning on doing some coding on Sunday so I'll try to diagnose it then.

Car feels great! Power and torque are definitely STRONG. I broke traction getting on an on ramp at 45mph in 4th gear last night and the stock iDrive Sport Displays for hp & torque maxed out (max range is 320 for each). Way faster all around, and super smooth delivery.

AA didn't really designate a "stage" number for my map, but I'm guessing it's basically a stage 2. Cat delete for c/l downpipe, cold start delete, burble, 91oct (Cali living ...no fmic...yet. Haha. Waiting on an E30 map.

Talk to AA.. they can update your sport gauges to 400/400 with the MPPK, or 480/480 with the M4 code for the gauges. I am running the 480 set, and can easily hit 370ish on both just squirreling around, not even serious full red line pulls.

Have you activated launch control before the tune? Not all models have it.

Can you run e85 with that tune and does it make a difference? With JB4 and flex fuel wires it is a definite HP increase.

You can run a mix of e85 with this tune. Depending if you are PWG or EWG will determine how much. PWG is usually more tolerable to more e85 so I would say 2-3 gallons to start then see how the car reacts and adjust accordingly.

Yes you can run E85, just let them know so they can send you an E85 map.

Successfully flashed the car with the AA Stage 1 file last night after experiencing some problems at the first try last weekend.

What happend was, that I got an error trying to flash the car with the "large" Stage 1 file that I received from AA.
It dropped an error on the iFlash program after selecting the file and didn't start to upload.
However I could flash the ECU with the large new Stock file I also received.

Nic from AA then sent me a new "small" Stage 1 file, which I could then successfully flash over the new Stock tune.

Flashing the large file took about 10 minutes (charger hooked up)
Flashing the small file took about 1 minute. The car then shows a limp mode warning, which I was told was normal, but as I didn't know before, this kind of put me into "shit, what happens?" mode for a moment!
After the ECU flash you need to restore the coding database which takes another minute or so. After that, limp mode warning went off. And I my heartbeat and adrenaline level went back to normal.

Basically, I just followed 1:1 the easy and clear PDF instructions I got from AA!

Took the car for a short test drive and are pleased with the results.
As the engine was cold I didn't push, but can for sure feel how much more torque there is.

I did some pulls on the road before the AA flash and will repeat that at asap and then share with you the M Performance Driver App graphs later.

So far it feels powerful, but let the numbers talk! :-)

Nic of AA sent me my latest tweaked build for my car, and I got it flashed this afternoon.

I was able to get 4 logged runs this evening, including a long 4th run before I ran out of time and road. Incredibly responsive, DSC light in 2nd and 3rd, and even tail end wiggle in 4th gear.

Just amazing.. new turbo PSI record of 18.7lbs peak! My cat temp peak was 1601, so not climbing any higher which is good.

I think you need tires or something is wrong with your alignment. I could see losing some traction in second. But not in third or fourth with a simple tune.

That’s a lot of boost for a stage 1 car. Is it a boost spike on tip in or is that what u getting as your Rpms rise. Car should be very fast at that psi if it’s not simply a spike.
