No lease, and I put like almost half of it down. I'll own the car at the end of my loan.

A 2014 below invoice? Bravo.

Hopefully you didn't get screwed on fees or money factor.

Thanks! Forgot to mention my MF is .00127 and 61% residual for 10k/36mo (subject to better rates being available next month when I take delivery). In addition, I will be using my Ultimate Drive Event rebate of $1k and loyalty rebate of $500, bringing down the cap cost even further.

I thought about using MSDs, however, I like the flexibility of being able to do a lease transfer in the future (in which case the assignee would take the deposits at the conclusion of the lease).

Does the negotiated selling price you posted include the incentives already?

If it doesn't, then I arrived at a payment of ~$595, with whatever the tax, titles, first payment and other fees due at signing.

If the residual recovers to say, 62%, your payment could come down about $15!

Dealer Price = $52,600
Rebates/Incentives = $2,500 (loyalty, ude, build cash)

Final Price = $50,100

MF= .00127 (unable to due MSD in New York State)

This looks like a fantastic deal to me! Pretty awesome that you were able to find a 6MT in dealer stock. Congratulations

The dealer has had this car in stock since January.

They did not market the car at all, no cars.com, no autotrader. It was just dumb luck that I found it.

It took a while to get the deal down to $575 a month.

Should be a fun ride.

I was temped by a loaded 2013 328i M Sport (alpine and coral red). Only problem was that it was automatic. It also didn't have DHP.

In the end I knew I had to have the 6MT. The 335i was a bonus.

Are you including fees and taxes in the selling price or not?

If so, it's a great deal as invoice is $56,865 on that car.

However ... Something is wrong with that monthly payment unless your taxes are really high.

Even assuming that the fees weren't rolled into the negotiated price, that means cap cost is $54,965 (including $3500 incentive adjustment).

With a MF of 0.00127 and 64% residual, for 36 months that should be $539/mo without taxes.

(Are you sure residual is 64%, that sounds a bit too good for 12k/yr)

There is prob sales tax, and don't forget he said that fees were rolled in. That could be about $1000-1,500 (not sure which fees are included or not), or about $40 more a month.

All fees were rolled in after selling price(acq, doc, lic, first month)
Tax was ~$49/month

It probably adds up then, you didn't list MACO or Training so I didn't add those in, plus you're in Ca and I wouldn't be at all surprised if there were more fees that I am not even aware of.

Same here, Boulder county has 8.3% tax on cars.

Yea, and I think CA has 9% tax, and it's only on lease payments not the MSRP of the vehicle.

2013 328i M sport 20Kmiles/yr 36 month lease

Hi guys,

Can you please run over the numbers of this lease and let me know what you think? I wanted to get the car at 45K but is that impossible?

I should get grad credit and build out, is there any other offers I can get? Also, the car has 213mi, maybe it has been sitting on the lot for a while.

I'm only hesitant because this is a really expensive 328 and I feel I should be in a 335 for this price, haha.

(Sorry if I missed something, first post!)
Thanks in advance for the help.

Since it's a '13, you can probably get the selling price at the invoiced amount. If I were you, I would try to get them to lower the price to $500 below invoice, and you will probably settle at invoice price.

Ask him what your interest rate/money factor is. It should be 2.9% APR.

Build out and grad credit are $2,000 total though, which is awesome and will help you out.

Here's the pdf with all the details: http://db.tt/vCrWipDF

But the MF was 112 and the price is 46K. One question I had is they listed a few thousand in cap cost reduction but i'm doing the 7 MSDs. Where is the other money coming from? Is that a down or what?

TIA

Great MF! Like I said above, verify your selling price is around invoice using BMWconfig. You can easily get at invoice or maybe a few hundred below, as '13s are trying to be moved quickly by dealers.

Money down can consist of three things:

- Reduce cap cost of car
- Security deposits to reduce the MF
- Pay for fees due at signing (title, tax, reg, ect.)

I'm not sure how your deal is organized, but each security deposit is your monthly payment rounded up in a denomination of $50 (i.e. 475 -> 500). If your security deposits are maxed at 7, then that's easily a few thousand dollars.

I thought I would share my 2013 328i lease experience in Dallas, Texas. This is my first BMW purchase.

Final deal: 36 months $12k miles annually
MSRP $52,000 black sapphire with saddle brown leather
packages included the following:
luxury line, Drivers assistance package, Drivers assistance plus, Lighting package, Premium package, Tech package, Heated front seats, Parking assistant, and Harmon kardon sound

Final Sale price: $48,250 just under $500 over dealer invoice. The car is being delivered from a dealer out of Dallas so I gave a little here.
Residual: 63%
Money factor: .001277 - this site was instrumental here. Dealer started at .00161
Acquisition: $925 - a little high, but let it slide
Sales tax: $3015.63
Doc and registration: $343.99
Paid the taxes, registration/doc fees, and acquisition fee up front.

Payment $526

I feel pretty good about the deal, but am open to any feedback. Thanks to everybody who posted information in this thread, it was a great help.

Thanks for the help, I am doing 7 MSDs at 3500 but they show ~8800 due at signing and i'm guessing the rest is money down? I wanted to avoid any money down bc I do not want to forfeit it at the end of the lease.

The price offered is 46K and the invoice is 46,725; should I be getting 2K off the invoice price for the 2 rebates (grad+ buildout) or should it just be in the cap cost reduction? I'm honestly not understanding the cap cost reduction they have worked out here. Also, to be sure the MSDs are returned at the end of the lease, right? Is there anyway they could be withheld?

TIA
