*GRAY Brembo* Cheapest Performance Pad + Rotor Replacement
Hopefully this helps anyone looking to do a full brake job on their Gray 4 Pot Brembo (standard 335i) brakes.
It was hard track down EBC RedStuff or YellowStuff for the rears since most only make/list pads for the M-brakes. And for those that don't already know, the Gray Brembo fronts use the same pads as Msport brakes and M3/M4. The rears all differ. Zimmerman blank rotors @ Turner Motorsports Fronts set: $179 (34116792223Z2KT) Rear set: $121 (34216864899ZKT) Surprisingly googled the P/N for front and rear EBC RedStuff...and Autozone Online out of all places have the cheapest price lol EBC RedStuff @ Autozone Online Fronts: $126 (DP32130C) Rears: $94 (DP32131C) **Note that the rear is listed incorrectly on their website, and the actual EBC part number is for our F series standard gray caliber N55 cars. EBC YellowStuff @ Autozone Online Fronts: $173 (DP42130R) Rears: $110 (DP42131R) So all new pads and rotors for $578 Hopefully this is helpful for my fellow peasant gray Brembo fam

As another option for the front, these two piece rotors like OEM can be had for around $190 with shipping and the 5% off rockauto always runs.

DP32130 is the pad for the front 4-piston fixed caliper. I'm running the EBC Red front/rear set now with my M-Sport brakes. |

I have a rear pads Hawk HPS 5.0 ,, and I'm searching for rear rotors,, was thinking of the Zimmerman,,
Did any one used Hawk 5.0 before and on what rotors???? ,, I only fear weak breaking and loud noise, I will not tolerate that And what about Zimmerman,,, specially, (if any one tried it) with Hawk pads???? One more thing,,, are Zimmermans much heavier than the OEM ?? Would this affect anything? Last edited by GOLDENDUSt86; 01-17-2019 at 10:18 AM.. |

Akebono EUR1880 (front) and EUR1610 (rear) are also another choice for the gray calipers. I installed them in my car with excellent fit. They also come with the brake sensors in the box.

What do you all think of this brake kit? Better of worse than the red or yellows?
