In the process of getting my second rotor/pad set

First time round I stuck with OEM BMW pads for the front and rear

The rotors I went with slot/dimpled RDA rotors.

I can definitely say they were great, Rotors performed like OEM

in terms of pricing
Front BMW OEM pads: $180
Front Brake Sensor OEM : $37
Front Discs: OEM $300 pair. However I went with the RDA which was also 300. The plain ones were 200

Rear BMW OEM pads: $121
Rear OEM sensor: $46
Rear OEM discs: $270 pair. However I went to RDA $290. plain ones were 190

I went with RDA because I wanted to slot/dimple design. Did it for the looks

I bought this back in 2016 so not sure what prices are like now. I kept all the contacts but not even sure they still work for the companies. will be contacting them in the next few weeks

I bought the BMW OEM stuff from a BMW dealership in SA. They posted it out to me in Melbourne

RDA stuff i bought from RDA rep

Might even consider O/seas if significant saving and maybe a different pad. I know there are better than BMW OEM

+1. The OEM BMW rotors are AUD 170 and there are a whole heap of brands you just can't get here. That is with a poor FX rate!

Weight and shipping kills it though.

I ended up buying DBA brake rotors (just slotted) and used Endless pads. I had a good contact for them. Quiet, little to no dust.

Not quite as bitey as stock in terms of initial bite (no lunge feeling), but I don't mind that as once there is some pressure, they're better.

Love the fact there is little to no dust!

I called up BMW and they quoted me the following.
Front disc -$225 x2
pads - $266
senor - 46

Therefore i am planning to source my own stuff. I am looking at RDA or DBA (slotted just for looks). Is anyone else using other brands that they recommend?

feng do you have a link for the endless pads?

Garage List
hop over to getbmwparts online and enter your car to find your part numbers.

I compared their prices to a quote my dealer gave me and I can save about $170 in parts cost.
