Generally as you pay more for a car, you get a car which performs better. As you pay more for a watch, nothing happens, except the wearer feels that they must be a bit special

I have had my Omega Seamaster for 15 years, it has been serviced once, keeps perfect time and looks as good as the day I was presented it for my 40th birthday. It is now worth approximately 50% more than it cost new. Had I bought a car 15 years ago, looked after it and kept it clean, I doubt it would have appreciated by 50% but I do understand.
