I think if you understood a bit more of how the system works, or just mechanics in general, you would see why what you are saying makes no sense. But ok.

Think about it this way. If you leave a tire deflated at 0psi for a period of time or constantly, your tire will deform and potentially rip internally. Airing out to 0 will cause premature wear. But hey, suit yourself. Bags are $150+ by the way 😁

35 front and 109 rear. That tucks about an inch of tire on 245/35/19 & 265/35/19

My rears are maxed at the highest setting, so I can have some access to the wheel well when I wash the car. Anything less that maxed out and you basically are still tucking @140psi.

My fronts are set to almost even with the wheel lip when aired out.

My max high setting is 70psi up front which gives probably a 6" wheel gap (looks ridiculous), and 140 rear which again, barely clears the tire tread.

No, I think about it this way:

There's NO load on the bags when aired out because you've already reached the travel limit of the shock. The car will literally STOP MOVING before you hit zero. Try it.

I'm guessing you assume the car sits on crushed bags when aired out. If you paid attention when you installed them, you would understand that is not the case.

You did install them yourself didn't you?

Maaaaaaaybe if you slammed the car all the way to the ground via the shock collar, you'd have a point. But on this platform its not possible anyway, because the travel limit is too short.

But hey, if leaving 5psi in your bags helps you sleep at night. Go for it.

As I've said ofc, my struts are well indeed maxed out to slam. Compression on the bags ( especially on a 3500+ lb car) are not good either way you should keep a little air in them Atleast so the bag does not deform.

Hey guys I had a question about wheel fitment. I have a BMW F30 and have the opportunity to get a set of Rohana RF1s for very cheap. The only problem is that the wheels are coming off of an M5. The offset is 20x9 +20 front and 20x11 +28 rear. I have never seen this aggressive of fitment on an F30. I already have BC Coilovers that are waiting to be installed. Would I be able to fit the wheels with a bit of fender work or would this be too aggressive to fit? Thanks!

Front will fit no problem. Rear is very aggressive, but nothing camber can't fix

I'm fine with running camber. I just want to make sure the wheels will fit without touching the suspension components in the rear to the point where Id have to space them out even more to accommodate for the larger width of the wheel. I'm getting the full set of Rohana RF1 for only $500 so I'm gonna give it a try regardless.
