Steering wheel locks up on lowered Dinan Springs and Stock shocks*

Hey guys, a few months back I lowered my car on Dinan lowering springs and installed them on stock shocks with the bump stops. Everything looks and feels great driving it normally. It's only when I try driving it hard and making sharp turns where I see some issues.

When I try to make a sharp right turn, if I turn my steering wheel 180 degrees it kinda locks up like a stiff joint in your arm or leg and I would have to push a bit harder for it to release. This only occurs when I turn right at speeds more than 30km/h.

I'm assuming there's something wrong with the left side of the car since the left dips down when I turn right.

I would turn the wheel to the point its rubbing and check around the wheel well and engine bay to see if anything looks like if it moved it would rub or if anything has rub marks. i had a similar issue and found out a bolt on the steering shaft was rubbing against my aftermarket charge pipe causing the steering to momentarily become stuck similar to how you described yours.

I'd guess this has nothing to do with the Dinan springs themselves, but instead maybe something from the installation or even a power steering issue of some sort.

Hmmm, I also have an aftermarket charge pipe but I noticed this even before I installed it. I lowered my car before I installed the chargepipe. I will still definitely check that out

You may have installed a sway bar end link incorrectly and it's binding. Or your alignment is off and you need to recenter your steering rack.

So I went under the car today, the charge pipe does not seem to be in the way of anything. So I'm assuming that it must have to do with the install itself.
