2014 f30 N55 Bootmod3 Fuel Pressure Issue w Stage 2

Hello, been going round and round with Bootmod support trying to figure out this issue. (Appreciate all their help of course).
2014 435 auto, downpipe, charge pipe, M performance air box, running California 91.

Problem:

Upon initial tune flash, car performs well, FP doesn’t drop below 2400 at WOT. After about 60 miles car will not take full throttle without fuel pressure crashing to 1600-1100 as observed on my Torque app. Datalogs confirm this as well.

LTFT’s swing + 18 at steady state cruising, 2300 rpm. STFT’s go +/- 7.
Of note, with the stock OEM tune loaded, car performs well regardless of miles since the flash, FP never drops below 2500 and the LTFT's are stable, usually at 0 or -3

Pretty much the entire fuel system has been replaced in the last 8,000 miles chasing this problem.
6 new OEM fuel injectors (2 had failed)
New Bosch LPFP
New Bosch HPFP
6 new coils
6 new NGK 97506
New pre cat O2 sensor
Bootmod supplied two custom tunes that still did the same thing as the stage 2 ACN tune

I know I can put an aftermarket HPFP in and probably solve the problem, but I’m not looking for anything beyond standard Stage 2 performance and a bigger HPFP should not be required for this tune.
I’m seriously thinking of going back to the JB4 which never had this problem. I know the Bootmod tunes are good and when the car has a fresh flash it runs great for a while.

Logs available, Any help appreciated. Thanks

These logs are after miles and presumably, adaptations are set.

Edit, apparently my Excel log files won't post?

I deleted the logs from my bootmod account after I downloaded and sent them to support. I have them in csv files now. Is there another option? Won't make that mistake again.

Thanks for your help

Yeah i see the dips... definitely shouldnt be happening with that boost level on pump gas. What map are you running? Did you try stage 1? Also you seem to be missing some logging parameters, are you on newest bm3 map?

I've tried all 4 of the OTS Stage 2 maps for 91-93 octane as well as 2 maps provided by BM3 support that was supposed to address the crashing but didn't work out any better than the OTS. I have not tried a stage 1 map.

What logging parameters are missing? Would this be something I can add from the program dashboard?

Just look at anyone's recent BM3 log, there's about double what you have. I don't use BM3 but they should all be available for you. They added timing corrections and lots of other things.

I think I counted 34-36 data inputs for the logs I posted and I believe I saw timing corrections. The Bootmod manual says a total of 36 can be displayed.

The maximum number of default and non-default channels combined, allowed for logging purposes is 36. Once the max. number has been reached, a pop-up message will appear notifying the user it is at the max. limit.

Oh yeah...the log I compared mine to was the same, the one in your link has way more resolution, I see what you were talking about.

There must be an update. Funny, the support guy has a good 5 or 6 of my logs and never said anything.

They just need to update the guide for that as you can log WAY more today even on default settings.

Here are today's logs for what is effectlively a stage 1 tune. Still have HPFP crashing. I'm getting close to just upgrading the HPFP. I don't understand why so many can run these tunes with a stock N55 fuel system and I can't.

at this point I'd day you likely have a legit fueling issue.

Well 17psi isnt really a stage 1 tune but yeah, you shouldnt have HPFP crashes on pump gas. What fuel are you running and did you test it for ethanol %? What is interesting is that your STFTs are very negative at the same time... Is this a custom tune? Did you email BM3 support or try OTS maps?

Your IATs are also out of control, you should not be running this tune without an IC.

This is a tune supplied by BM3 to try to address the fuel pressure issues. I have not checked for ethanol however I have changed where I fuel up.

I plan an IC upgrade once I get this fuel pressure issue resolved. It's my understanding that higher IAT's would reduce the fuel requirement, which should help the problem. Is this accurate?

I have another custom tune from BM3 which I will log once I have some miles on it.

What happens on stock tune/stage 0? or M2 tune?

The pump gas shouldnt be over 10% but it's worth checking since this issue persists.

That's generally true with BM3, yeah, higher IATs = less dense air = less fuel needed.

The stock tune runs perfectly. Zero issues. The BM3 M2 tune has the same fuel pressure issue as every other BM3 tune I've tried.

I will test the fuel for Ethanol. Any suggestions for a test kit would be appreciated.

Of note, I ran this car with this exact tune at the big track at Willow Springs for two days and had zero fuel pressure crashing. I'm sure this was due to the 2400 ft altitude and the hot temps which reduced the fueling requirements. It's odd that the car is so close to the edge but in the heat and altitude, fuel pressure was stable. I was prepared to load the stock tune if I saw any FP issues.

That is strange if even the M2 tune has an issue... that makes me a little suspicious it could be software.

I use this kit: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I would avoid the knock off ones and just get the fuel-it one.

I can't believe you tracked the car with this tune and no IC lol... did you check IATs? They rose 50F in that one pull you posted, i can't imagine what they were at the track.
