After some further investigation, I could not find any evidence or even suspicion that aftermarket springs necessarily affect the adaptive in a negative way... I stand corrected.

This said, both ACS and various BMW dealerships I contacted consistently confirmed that aftermarket springs (irrespective of ACS or other) invalidate the car warranty if a problem can be traced back to the springs. That includes the suspension, but also potentially the transfer gearbox. (that’s an official statement from a BMW dealership).

Now I am considering ACS springs, but since I have another 4 years of warranty I'd like to know if anyone has experienced any problems after replacing the springs...?

Not picking apart your post, but I don't see how BMW could say a transfer box failure could be attributable to what springs/shocks are installed. Incorrect tyres I can understand.

Maybe just their get-out clause.

Easy, if your transfer box etc goes wrong, put the standard springs back in before taking it to the dealers.

I have 10mm front, 12mm back and when I fitted them I thought they look perfect. Now, sometimes when I look at them I think perhaps 12mm front & 15mm back might have been better - sometimes I think they look fine.
