Walnut blasted intake 335dx N57
Finally decided to clean my intake manifold as I felt the car just wasn't as free reving as before. I have already done the DPF,EGR delete.
The manifold was pretty gunked up, mostly on the elbow after the shutoff valve and all the way into the ports. Probably restricting the flow quite a bit as I could scrap the black tar all the way with the screw driver. Little of bit of toothbrushe cleaning before to remove heavy sticky tar then I used my friends walnut blaster to clean it up further! This tool is amazing! It literally turned my valves and ports to a brand new state. No amount of cleaning and degreasing would have the same finish. Anyway car definitely feels a lot more responsive and for sure comes on boost alot quicker, one thing it was laggy before. |

Good job The EGR delete should help to massively reduce the build-up returning.
