Hey all,

I have a 435i GC Carbon Black MPPK/MPE/Diffuser/M-sport line/DHP/Black kidney grills on the way....estimated build 2/13/15 for South Carolina pickup.

Im looking to mod, it will be my first time modding. Ive read the the possible choices are the following

1. Juice Box 4 - Stage Two - $Price: $ 529.95

2. DINANTRONICS™ Performance Tuner Stage 1 for BMW F32 F33 F36 435i (MPPK) $2000

3. Can you stack MPPK + JB4 + Dinan?
4. I see you can stack MPPK + Dinan
5. Can you stack MPPK + JB4 only?
6. Does JB4 void warranty?

7. Im also thinking of adding the DINAN® Shockware – EDC Suspension Tuning for BMW F32/F33/F36 435I, its $400

I still got time to think about it....im no expert, please assist.

I would recommend sticking with MPPK and protecting your warranty. But...if you do want to go Dinan or BMS, I'd change your order to delete the MPPK option, and save the $1,500.

Why not delete the MPPK from your order and save the $1,500 toward either Dinan or BMS?

He may not be getting it anyway. BMW still can't decide if they're offering it for port install or not. I get a different answer every time I call (which is driving me nuts, because my car will hit port in 5 days). If they are, price is $1750 ($1500 plus $250 installation).

This is exactly the experience I had on my GC and it saved me money and cost BMW an add on- I got the Front Splitter and CF mirror caps but were put on the by the dealer- no problem having that done. But went back and forth for like 3 months on Port install of MPPK or Dealer install and got different answers about 5-6 times and then didn't add it (yet). I wanted Port Install by techs who have DONE IT MANY TIMES where as my local dealer in Austin (and San Antonio) have installed only 2. That's not enough for me as I dont want to be a pioneer here. Hennessey Motor Sports are down the highway towards Houston and may just have them put it on- will cost me more but will be done right.

And the price that was quoted to you is the same as quoted to me $ 1500- $250 for install. I would have paid that for Port Install. I want the extra 25 lb. ft. torque boost.

I wish they would just get their stuff figured out.

Thanks for the heads up I was not familiar with this- I just know that when I drive by that place there is enough fantasy metal in there to make another Fast and Furious movie! But this MPPK add-on has become problematic. ON one hand I will travel to a dealer who has installed many of them but then if there are problems, my local dealer, even though it is under warranty, may hesitate a bit to repair or tweak it in if there is a problem? So I don't know- haven't bought the kit yet so dont have to make the decision yet.

I spoke to my SA regarding Dinan software install. He said he recommends doing it at the end of the warranty because if your factory software needs updating/refreshing, it will erase any Dinan stuff installed.
I haven't fact checked that yet with Dinan, but if that's the case its certainly something to consider.
If anyone can confirm or deny this that would be great!

Not with the Dinantronics. Its a piggyback. It can't be overwritten.

I think that that's what happened to my F32. It was supposed to have mppk and has it on the window sticker and options list but it isn't equipped with it.

As mentioned above, this shouldn't happen because its a piggyback. But the other thing that bugs me about this.....shouldn't the BMW dealership reinstall Dinan software (if it were a flash tune for example) if it were to be erased as part of their updates? My local BMW dealership mentioned that they accidentally erased someone's Dinan tune once and had to put it back on for the customer.

Not all dealers are Dinan dealers. Ones that aren't don't have access to the Dinan software or tunes.

Had mine done as a port install for no charge. Dealer matched a lower internet price was about $1000. Tischer is $1350 right now but you can always check for sales. Some dealers advertise on E-bay

That's it. The dealer I spoke to is not a Dinan dealer, so I was a bit skeptical. I picked up an MPPK at a Dinan dealer, and they said what you all are saying, that the Dinan is a stand-alone module and cannot be deleted.
