F36 Gran Coupe LED Reverse Light Change
Hi,
Been looking all around, but I can't seem to find any info specifically for the F36 gran coupe on swapping out the reverse lights for LEDs. In the hatch, I was able to pop open the inner plastic side panels to access the housing for the reverse light area, but it isn't clear to me on how I can pop out the housing to access changing out the bulb. Also any information about where I can get LED replacements would be helpful. TIA |

What you have for a bulb isn't clear. The only way to be sure is to take the holder out and see for yourself. It may even be LED already. If you do end up going from incandescent to LED you'll need to code it, otherwise it will flash every minute or so. |

Hmm, not sure if its with the year models or coupe vs gran coupe, but the gran coupe doesn't have a quick disconnect for the main board housing the bulbs. From the looks of it, it seems like its all screwed in behind the board.
I specifically have the 2018 430i Gran Coupe, and I can't seem to find documentation online about it... |
