2018 328d , thinking about engine tune

Hi fellow diesel drivers , i just recently lowered my 328d on coilovers and ordered a new set of wheels and tires. Lately i have been browsing the forum and saw people getting some pretty impressive HP / Torque gains from tunes and mods.

I read that an EGR delete is recommended for our vehicles. Will this still keep me in warranty? Also what type of tune should i go for ?

Any recommendations would be much appreciated, have a great day!

To keep your warranty I would choose a tune that keeps your emissions stuff intact.
Beautiful car by the way!

KermaTDI advertises +45whp and +60lb-ft to the wheels with their 328d tune... I’ve been running it for about a month and a half now and have been extremely happy with it. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

EGR delete will definitely not jive with your warranty! Most stage1 / stage2 tunes will keep your emissions equipment intact, but you may need to revert to stock tuning for warranty work at the dealer. You do run some risk of them giving you issues depending on what repairs are needed. If they can tell you had a tune, and attribute that to your repair issue, you may not be covered. Some dealers are very forgiving on this, and some are definitely not. For minor issues they may look away, but if it's a $5000 repair a tune could give them an out to deny you. You definitely need to weigh the options. Beautiful car BTW!!

KermaTDI seems very reputable , i might go with them, still doing some research. I do like the fact that you have the stock files on hand if anytime you need to revert it back to factory settings. I can just imagine 60-70 ft-lbs more at my disposal , would be awesome.
