Best tune for 2016 340ix

I just picked up a 2016 340ix CPO. The warranty is still good for another 18 months and unlimited mileage. Is there a good tune that you can add and still have BMW honor the warranty?

If you want warranty Dinan tune otherwise BM3 is also a good tune as far i know.

Really the only surefire way to keep your warranty is by going with the MPPSK

Get a JB+ for now , takes 1 minute to install/uninstall

Once you warranty is up, get the Jb4 or flash tune (Bootmod3, Active Autowerke).

With warranty - get Active Autowerke (AA) A8 piggyback (if available or I can sell you mine). Plug it in and forget it. (20-30 min self-install). Super reliable (had one for 30k mi) and tons of torque.

Without - flash tune.
I recommend Mission Performance (MP) stage 2+ engine and stg 1 transmission.
I still under warranty with only 6k mi on odometer and decided to flash it, regardless

. MFlasher is not one size fits all solution like Bootmod3, it’s custom per your specific vehicle.

Get a feel for the car first. I threw caution to the wind and installed the JB4 @ 1200 miles, along with a BMS intake. Around 23k, I added a catless DP. At this point, if I had encountered a major problem, I could have reverted back to stock and taken the car in without too much concern. Car was rock solid though. This past Spring, at around 36k and being sick and tired of the JB4's split personality, I decided to throw caution to the wind again and flashed it with BM3 Stage 2 93. I haven't looked back. I flashed the transmission a couple weeks ago with xHP and I'm switching to the E30 BM3 map this weekend. We make our choices. Stay on top of your plugs and oil changes, run top tier gas and you should be fine
